Here are my six...

1. I LOVE ribbon! It is so hard for me to make a card or project without ribbon!
2. I have a love/hate relationship with giltter! I hate how it gets all over everything but it looks so pretty on projects. I don't allow any of my students to use it on projects!
3. I wish I worked at Stampin' Up!. Now... wouldn't that be cool!?!?!
4. I am amazed at the new techniques other come up with using SU! tools! I wish I were that creative! Maybe some day their free thinking creativity will rub off on me
5. I am hooked on the Soft Sky and Chocolate Chip color combo! I am going to be bummed when Soft Sky retires! :o(
6. I am hooked on the Simply Scrappin' Kits! The only thing I don't like about them is they incooperate the In Colors and most will retire that the end of a catalog! BUT that also means LOTS of new kits!!!!

ARTE Y PICO AWARD!!

I received this award from a great crafter and friend, Erin (check out her blogs, lots of great projects!!!). It is the Arte Y Pico (Art & More) Award and is given to bloggers who share their art and creativity making their contribution to the blogging world. Thanks Erin! I do love sharing my ideas with everyone and getting creative inspiration from everyone I've "met" while blogging.

The rules...

ON A MISSION FOR MOTHER'S DAY!

The past couple weeks have been wildly crazy... a pipe within our walls sprang a leak which caused damage in our family room and finished basement, the pooch got sick, daughter got sick, plus finalizing 3rd quarter grade and evaluating new textbooks for school! Lots happening here!

Mother's Day is quickly approaching and I finally got samples done from my Mother's Day class. Those that choose to attend will make five different note cards and a cute holder. The project incooperates the Spring Fling Designer Series Paper ($9.95; #110273). Here is a sneak peak at part of the project (I don't want to give it all away!). Thank you, momtocnjn, for the idea for the card pictured.

The class will be held on Wednesday, April 30 at 6:00 and costs $15 or free with a $30 purchase. I hope you can make it!!!

If you would like to order anything before the class, please call or email! Don't forget you can order from the Occasional Mini until May 31. It is filled with so many cute products for spring!!
